Rod Stewart Goes Vegas Again.

Rod Stewart says there won’t be any bells and whistles in his upcoming Las Vegas show.  Rod’s residency at Caesars Palace is subtitled “The Hits” and the rocker tells Billboard.com that’s what audiences will get.  Stewart adds that fans can expect a “good rock show” filled with songs that made him a star.  “The Hits” begins its two-year run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace thisAugust 24th.

In related news, Rod confirms that he’s moving ahead on an album with guitarist Jeff Beck.  He says the project’s shaping up to be “70-percent blues” with tracks from the likes of Muddy Waters and Jimmy Reed.  Stewart says he and Jeff aren’t in a rush to get the album out, but it’s in the works.
