Rolling Stone magazine came on the scene today (11/9) in 1967. For 25 cents you got the latest news on rock, pop culture, politics and more. John Lennon was on the first cover dressed in his soldier outfit for the movie How I Won The War. A free roach clip was included in Vol 1, No. 1, for all the hippies digging the new rock oriented magazine.
