Carlos Santana has a new appreciation for Pitbull after the rapper helped remake Santana's classic track 'Oye Como Va' for a new guest-packed album called 'Corazon.' In fact, Santana believes Pitbull is "like the new Queen and Rolling Stones of today."

He's certainly helping Santana sell a similar number of records. 'Corazon,' conceived as a Latin version of Santana's smash 1999 hit album 'Supernatural,' debuted in the Billboard Top 10 this week. Santana credits moments like Pitbull's new high-energy take on 'Oye Como Va' -- though it took some time to get things just right.

"I'm so grateful to him 'cause I think he tried it, like, close to 20 times," Santana tells ABC News Radio. "I feel so grateful that he invested such diligence, and willingness to do this. Everything that he does becomes like halftime at the Super Bowl, or the NBA. He's like the new Queen and Rolling Stones of today, because every time you want your team to pick up the energy, they play that music, y'know? So that's what Pitbull is: he's, like, the arena energy person."
