We've all heard children's classics like "If You're Happy And You Know It" and "I Love You, You Love Me" as sung by that giant purple dinosaur. But have you yet had the pleasure of the latest school sing-a-long, "Kitty High Five"?

My third grader has been singing this song sporadically for the past few days, so I had to ask him, "What are you singing, Ben?" "Kitty High Five" he said. Chuckling at the lyrics I was able to make out, I asked him where he heard it. He told me it was one of his brain breaks at school.

From what I understand, a brain break is a quick, fun exercise to stimulate the brain before taking on a task. This is just one of many brain breaks. I can't wait to see what I'll hear him singing next!
