Get some cardboard and duct tape and start building a boat because we're hitting Lake Nepessing on July 19th for our first ever Cardboard Boat Race. Get all the details and sign up the team of two that will pilot your sea-worthy vessel here!

All you have to do is build something using only approved materials (cardboard, tape, paint, glue and wax) that will carry two people and float. This is going to be a lot of fun and will happen July 19th at 2p (registration starting at 12:30p) at the Lake Inn Bar & Restaurant.

To show you how to build a cardboard boat, Duffy (a member of the US 103.1 sales team) threw one together over the course of a week and took pictures. Have a look at the step-by-step process below.

The entry fee is only $15 a team and you'll be able to run the course twice. Teams will compete for a cash prizes and medals, which will be awarded for both speed and creativity... and don't be afraid to wear a costume. Click the link below to enter!
