Six-Alarm Fire Burns Sixty-Three Acres In Deerfield Township [VIDEO]

Hear the Deerfield Township Fire Department being toned on Saturday for a field fire behind a house on Tozer Road. It was determined to be a large wheat field fire by the first unit to arrive. More departments were needed to assist when the fire continued spreading in all directions. Deerfield, North Branch, Otter Lake, Arcadia, Burlington and Columbiaville Townships and Lapeer City Fire Departments responded. Lapeer County EMS Alpha 20 was requested to standby. There were no injuries.
