Son Buys Back Dad’s First Car

Typically, a parent will buy (or help pay for) a child’s first car. In this video, the son is giving the father his first car for the second time. Rick Lockebill had to part ways with his first car — a 1972 Mustang MACH 1 — years ago. Somehow, his son managed to track it down in Florida and get it back for his father. Then he surprised him with it and filmed the whole thing.

Maybe someday somebody will surprise us with our first car — a 1979 Toyota Corolla hatchback nicknamed “The Deathtrap Dungeon.” It would be an especially impressive feat, considering we had it sent to the crusher because we couldn’t afford to pay for parking. Fingers crossed!
