Michigan State Guard Kalin Lucas poured in 27 points last night but it wasn’t enough as the Michigan Wolverines upset the Spartans 61 – 57 at the Breslin Center.  After starting the season at No. 2, the Spartans are now 12-8, 4-4 in the Big Ten, and will have to scrap to ensure another NCAA Tournament bid.  Zack Novak led the way for the Wolverines with 19 points.  Michigan is now 12-9 overall and 2-6 in the Big Ten.
