For the third time on the "Not in This Lifetime" tour, Guns N’ Roses welcomed their original drummer Steven Adler back to the stage. But this time, they didn’t have to go too far to make it happen. Adler performed two songs with them at Dodger Stadium in their hometown of Los Angeles last night (Aug. 19)

Adler sat in on “Out Ta Get Me," which is embedded above, and “My Michelle," which you can see below, the same two Appetite for Destruction songs that he played on July 6 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, and again three days later at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. These three dates marked the first Guns N’ Roses performances with Adler since Farm Aid 1990, where a poor show led to his dismissal a few months later. With Slash and Duff McKagan back in the Axl Rose-fronted band, this put four-fifths of the original Guns N’ Roses lineup on the same stage. Rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin has said that he would not be participating in this current tour.

But there's still time for Stradlin to change his mind. Guns N’ Roses wrap up the North American leg of their tour on Monday (Aug. 22) at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. This fall, they will play a month of shows in South and Central America, beginning with the Estadio Monumental in Lima, Peru on Oct. 27. Earlier this week, they announced that they will keep the reunion going into next year with shows in Japan and Australia scheduled for January and February 2017.
