Summer reading programs are continuing at the branches of the Lapeer District Library. On Tuesday, July 23 at 1 p.m. the popular magician Baffling Bill, will appear on the lawn of the Marguerite deAngeli Library. Before the program, lunch will be offered to anyone under the age of 18 by the Lapeer Community Schools. On Wednesday, Faith the therapy dog will be at the library from 1 p. m. to 3 p.m. Children may make fifteen-minute appointments to read to Faith by calling (810) 664-6971.

A Geocache Hunt will be held for teens and adults at Prairies and Ponds on Thursday, July 25, at 5 p.m. Register at the deAngeli Branch Library.

Columbiaville Branch will offer Classroom Critters on Wednesday, July 24 at 3 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to touch live animals.

Otter Lake Branch will be having a drop in Make-and-Take crafts session on Monday, July 22 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. The children will be decorating fans.

The Sloan Museum will be presenting Worm Motels at Hadley Branch on Tuesday, July 23 at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Call (810)797-4101 to register. Also, Hadley will be hosting a Make-and-Take drop-in craft session on Wednesday, July 25 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
