Spend the longest day of the year walking in the woods at Seven Ponds Nature Center in a Summer Solstice Saunter this Sunday (6/21) at 2 PM. Ferns are beautiful plants with fascinating natural histories. They’re a common sight in woodlands and wetlands but most of us would find it hard to differentiate one type of fern from another. Spend a morning amongst the ferns at Seven Ponds on Fern Day (6/30) from 9:30 AM – 12 PM and learn how to understand and identify native ferns on your own property. The fee for this program is $8 ($5 for members). For more information, visit sevenponds.org.
