Survey Says Bob Seger Best Ambassador For Michigan

Michiganders say rocker Bob Seger would be the best ambassador for the state. A new poll by Lansing-based Lambert, Edwards & Associates polled voters from across the state.

They asked voters to pick from Seger, Eminem, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. Seger took first place with 27% of the votes. Kid Rock was second with 22%, Ted Nugent came in third at 15% and Eminem finished fourth at 7%.

The survey showed more women voted for Kid Rock. More people in the 18-34 age bracket also voted for Kid Rock. 27% of that age bracket voted for the rock star, meanwhile only 11% voted for Eminem.

The survey was conducted on 600 respondents in the state of Michigan between June 16 through June 17, 2011
