T. Rex's classic 1972 album, 'The Slider,' will return to the spotlight with a 40th anniversary reissue featuring producer Tony Visconti's remastering.

The box set, due Nov. 26, comes bolstered with B-sides and outtakes on top of the traditional album. In addition, fans can also look for a previously unreleased demo of 'The Slider' title track that Visconti unearthed from his own personal collection.

The Quietus reports that the collection also comes with a new DVD featuring a 105-minute interview with Visconti by Marc Bolan biographer Mark Paytress. Other bonus features include footage of 'Telegram Sam' and 'Metal Guru' from 'Top of the Pops'; 'Cadillac,' 'Spaceball Ricochet,' and 'Telegram Sam' from ITV, a 1972 interview with Marc Bolan and Russell Harty; footage of Bolan with drummer Mickey Finn; a TV ad promoting 'The Slider' album and a promo film for 'Buick Mackane.'

The collection also comes with a hardback book featuring essays by both Visconti and Paytress; vinyl pressings of the album and the singles 'Telegram Sam,' 'Metal Guru,' and 'Chariot Choogle; a 40-page book of sheet music; posters; stickers; a plastic carrying bag and various other collectibles.
