The Division 5 quarterfinal high school football game at Almont on Friday night was another great win for the Almont Raiders. River Rouge was Almont’s latest victim. At the half the Raiders had the lead with the score at 14-12. The second half was all Almont scoring 21 more points with final being Almont 35 and River Rouge 12.

The Almont High School Raiders football team put an end to Marine City’s winning record of 16 victories in a row on Friday night. The Raiders knocked off the Mariners 35-7. The big win gave Almont the Division 4 district title.
