This week in 1984, the song "Do They Know It's Christmas" was the #1 single in England on its way to the same position in the U.S.A. The tune was done by Band Aid, which was a band of musicians put together by Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof to raise money to feed the hungry in Ethiopia.
