Who came up with idea for Bubble Wrap? Well here's the answer an American engineer named Al Fielding and a Swiss inventor named Marc Chavannes created Bubble Wrap. They were trying to come up with a textured, plastic wallpaper, but they soon thought their wallpaper could be used better as a packaging material.
