Camel Races

Help the Family Literacy Center in Lapeer raise funds to support our local literacy programs. Friday (10/17) night it’s the 15th annual Camel Races at the Lapeer Center Building with the doors opening at 5:30 pm. You won’t be seeing live camels inside the Center Building. What you will see are wooden camels

Family Literacy Center’s annual Camel Races are going on at the Center Building this Friday. Wooden racing camels, decorated by local sponsors, racing down the field to the toss of the big, fuzzy dice. First to cross the finish line wins.
