Diesel

I highly doubt whether the word Diesel brings up any memories at all, other than being stuck behind a stinky old semi truck in traffic.  Well, there was a band called Diesel that had a pretty big hit during 1981.  You may not recognize their name but you may the song, Sausalito Summernight...

I don't think the old Dutch band 'Diesel' would be remembered by name, but you may recall their only US hit from 1981, 'Sausalito Summernight'.  It has a great American style summer time groove and was all over the radio during the early 80's...
