Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Flint Mayor Karen Weaver are officially launching a new ad campaign asking Flint residents to 'Flush for Flint'. Residents are being asked to run cold water at full strength from home faucets a for five minutes each, for two weeks straight. Apparently this will help to remove small particles of lead that may be stuck in pipe systems.

Humans are not the only species being affected by the lead in Flint water - dogs are too. Honestly I have not thought about animals drinking the water. Duh! Obviously it has to be affecting them as well.

Tree Riddle put together a list of what President Obama should do while he is in Flint today. Stops included Little Darlings and of course eating a coney dog at Starlite. Unfortunately we all know the stop at LD's won't happen, but he could eat a coney in between his stops at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and Northwestern High School.
