Wearing a garland of marigolds, bandmate Bob Weir waded out into the waters of India's sacred Ganges River twenty years ago and released some of the ashes of Jerry Garcia. He and Garcia's widow, Deborah Koons, traveled to India with the ashes, drawing objections from some of his family members.
