This week in 1971 John Lennon released his album Imagine and the music critics at the time didn't think much of the collection. John's fans thought differently especially when it came to the title track

One of my favorite albums was released today in 1971, John Lennon’s “Imagine”. This would be John’s second collection and the first with just his name as the artist. The previous collection was credited to John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band.
