Summer reading programs are continuing at the branches of the Lapeer District Library. On Tuesday, July 23 at 1 p.m. the popular magician Baffling Bill, will appear on the lawn of the Marguerite deAngeli Library. Before the program, lunch will be offered to anyone under the age of 18 by the Lapeer Community Schools.

Book your reading time for "Paws to Read". Faith, a lovely golden retriever who is also a therapy dog, will be returning to the Lapeer District Library's Marguerite deAngeli Branch on West Nepessing Street in Lapeer starting Tuesday January 15, 2013.   Faith, who has been trained to listen to young readers, will be in attendance from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm on Tuesday afternoons.
