Stone Soup Food Pantry And Hunger Awareness Week

The Stone Soup Food Pantry in Lapeer has fundraisers that are happening for Hunger Awareness Week:

May 10 and May 11, volunteers will be out at various intersections throughout Lapeer.

Also on Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11, volunteers will be at ShopKo in Imlay City, Starbucks in Lapeer, and at Big Lots in Lapeer.

Lapeer County ministers and area residents will observe National Day of Prayer at the old courthouse in downtown Lapeer. The program this evening is from 6 until 7. The theme for this year is Pray for America with an emphasis on the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the Creator.
