The Beatles Get An Invitation From The Queen
Today was a big day for The Beatles. On June 12, 1965 at the invitation of the Queen of England The Beatles went to Buckingham palace to be awarded the M.B.E., "Most Excellent Order of the British Empire." There were a lot people in England who protested the band getting this prestigious honor.
