The Beatles' hits compilation "1" might be more than ten years old, but the album is still in high demand. The disc was just released digitally, and has shot to the top of the iTunes album chart.  The 27-track collection features most of the Fab Four's U.S. and UK number one hits.  The career-spanning set includes their first U.S. chart-topper, "I Want To Hold Your Hand," and their first British number one, "From Me To You," along with other classics such as "She Loves You," "All You Need Is Love," and "Hey Jude."  The Beatles' final number one, "The Long and Winding Road," closes the set.  The album was originally released in November 2000 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Beatles' breakup.

In 2009 Nielsen SoundScan named "1" the best selling album of the decade, with nearly eleven-point-five-million copies sold over the ten-year period.  The CD was also an international success, topping the charts in the U.S., the UK, and 16 other countries across the globe.
