In London, The Beatles audition for EMI’s George Martin at the Abbey Road studios, playing their compositions “Love Me Do” and “Ask Me Why.” George Martin the producer met four young lads from Liverpool who were destined to change his life and the world of music.

Three months later The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, were back in Abbey Road and recording for real. They were signed by George Martin and were about to make their first record. "Love Me Do" was the group’s first single.
