This week in 1968, The Beatles put out their first and only double album with the official title The Beatles but known to the world as The White Album. The 30 songs on the collection would sell at last count worldwide 30 million copies with 19 million bought here in the U.S.A.

Some people including Ringo say the band should have released the songs on two separate albums. Ringo said the titles could have been The White and The Whiter albums.

Join me weekday morning s at 6:30 for The Beatles Breakfast Jam.
