The Death of Prince Highlights Worsening Pain Med Crisis

Prince's doctor was revealed yesterday and evidence is mounting that his death was caused by an overdose of prescription painkillers. Families Against Narcotics - Lapeer County Chapter works to educate communities throughout Lapeer County on the specific dangers of abusing prescription opiate-base painkillers and was founded in response to the growing heroin problem in our neighborhood. Then Prosecuting Attorney Byron Konschuh began a Heroin Task Force with community professionals and community members to try to stem the growing drug problem and through this activity Lapeer County became the first FAN chapter.
