The Early Days of Queen – Today’s Vinyl Vault

Progressive rockers from the get go, Queen eventually slid into a more commercial direction that made them superstars during the 1980's.  Compare Keep Yourself Alive from the first one in 1973 to Another One Bites The Dust from 1980.  Sounds like two different bands, but the same four guys.  I'm all for bands expanding their horizons but with Queen, you never knew what they were going to do next.  When Crazy Little Thing Called Love was played at a weekly new music meeting, we just looked at each other. ???  So, today is for the old timers like me.  Back to 1974 with an early stage fave by the boys, Now I'm Here.  Be there - and I'll be - here ... at 5:20pm!  Out of town?  Listen live on-line.
