Earlier today, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson answered questions from fans as part of a free-for-all Twitter Q&A. Although you can check out the rest of the questions and answers by searching for the #RockTalk hashtag, one item should prove particularly interesting to fans of comic book movies. The beloved action star said that he's met with Warner Bros. executives concerning a DC Comics movie of some kind.

For the official record, here's the Tweet in full:

There's not much to go on there, but through the power of context and memory, there are a few conclusions we can easily jump to.

The first and most obvious implication here is that the long-gestating 'Lobo' movie (to which Johnson has been attached for ages) is finally starting to move forward as part of WB's initiative to make more moderately budgeted superhero films. For those who don't know, Lobo is a DC Universe B-lister, a spacefaring alien antihero who's essentially a badass rogue biker type who flies between planets and gets involved in all kinds of mayhem. He's not a particularly well-liked character outside of comic book fans, but the same was true for Iron Man less than a decade ago.

The second possibility is that he'll be playing another superhero (or villain) and with his absurdly muscular physique, there are few super-powered guys that he couldn't play. Could he be under consideration to play one of the Batman/Superman movies many villains? Or maybe another superhero who'll hang out in the background with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman? Who knows. Maybe.

With 2014 literally hours away, we're sure that we won't have to wait too much longer to hear more.
