Turns out The Who won't be part of the festivities surrounding the 2012 Summer Olympics after all. The band is denying reports that they've signed on for the international sporting event, which is taking place in London next year.  In a post on TheWho.com band members say emphatically -- in all caps -- that stories about their involvement in the Olympics are "NOT TRUE." Earlier this week the UK's "Daily Mirror" ran an article stating the classic rockers were on board for the event's closing ceremony.

The paper quoted a source said to be close to Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, who claimed the rockers thought the chance to perform at such an epic event was "too good to turn down," and that they were "delighted to be involved.
