Alice Cooper recently announced he was to be launching his own theme park ride in Universal Studios, Los Angeles.

The temporary attraction is set to last from September 23rd to October 31st. The ride is a festively spooky maze arriving in time for Halloween, and is currently titled “Welcome to My Nightmare”. The maze is co-designed by Cooper himself and will features spiders, guillotines, snakes, electric chairs and other scary things.

Of the attraction, Alice has said it will “haunt it's visitors’ dreams for a long time to come…”

The maze is promoting Cooper’s new album, “Welcome 2 My Nightmare” (the sequel to his 1975 record “Welcome to my Nightmare”), to be released on October 17th.
