The Tigers may have just come off a seven game winning streak, but it was due more to excellent starting pitching than their batting prowess.  The final score, 4 – 2.  Tiger bats continued to struggle last night as starter Max Scherzer pitched seven strong innings before reliever Joaquin Benoit gave up three runs in relief.  Tiger batters managed only four hits and two runs.  Rick Porcello takes the mound for the Tigers tonight against the Blue Jays.
