Tiger Bats Come Alive

On a night when Tiger Starter Justin Verlander wasn’t at his sharpest and Tiger fielders produced four errors … Tiger batters found the necessary power to snatch a win from the Tampa Bay Rays.  The Tigers beat the Rays, 7 – 6 last night at Comerica Park.  Miguel Cabrera hit a three run bomb and Alex Avila hit two taters to prop up the Tiger deficiencies.  The two teams wrap up their three game set this afternoon with Brad Penny taking the mound for the Tigers.
