Tiger Catcher Avila … Has Fun in Win

Detroit Tiger catcher Alex Avila decided to take Manager Jim Leyland’s words of advice to heart and “have some fun”.  Leyland had observed that Avila wasn’t playing as loose as he did when he played at Alabama.  Avila went 3 for 4 at the plate driving in runs in leading the Tigers to a 7 – 3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.  The two teams wrap up their three game series tonight … game time 7p.
