Tiger Escapes At Circus Ends Up Face To Face With Woman In The Restroom [VIDEO]

YouTube

I’ve never been a huge fan of the circus, mainly because of the clowns. But after learning what happened at the Salina Bicentennial Center in Kansas over the weekend, I think I’ll stay home next time the circus comes to town!

Jenna Krehbiel was at the circus for the first time with her family on Saturday night. After the large cat show, she took a brief bathroom break. The quick stop turned into a moment of fear as she ended up face-to-face with a tiger that had gotten loose.

Krehbiel reflected on the incident by saying:

I went in to use the bathroom, and a lady came in to get her daughter out and said there was a tiger loose. I didn’t know it was in the bathroom, and I walked in the (open) door, which closed right after I had walked in. I saw the tiger; it was at most two feet in front of me, and I turned around calmly and walked back toward the door. Someone opened the door and said get out. It was the closest I have ever been to a tiger not in a cage. You don’t expect to go in a bathroom door, have it shut behind you and see a tiger walking toward you.”

Jenna’s friends now joke about the incident relating it to the scene from “The Hangover” where a tiger owned by Mike Tyson is in the bathroom of a hotel room used by Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms after a night of partying.

Jenna’s daughter simply wondered if her mom had washed her hands. That was the three-year-old’s only concern.
