Tiger Hitters Continue to Struggle

Hannah Foslien, Getty Images

It sounds like a skipping record … Tiger bats continue to struggle!  It’s the same story every game.  Tiger starting pitchers provide a better than sufficient effort and Tiger hitters can’t come through with the necessary clutch hit.  Last night, it was Phil Coke’s turn.  He tossed seven inning of nearly perfect ball, giving up only three Red Sox hits.  The final score, 1 – 0.  That being said, the Red Sox didn’t do much better.  Sox hitters collected only four hits.  Justin Verlander takes the mound for the Tigers tonight.  Tiger hitter better wake up soon or it will be over before it starts.
