Detroit Tiger starter Doug Fister set a career high for strikeouts in a game. Fister struck out a career-high 13, Victor Martinez hit a three-run homer and the Tigers picked up their fourth victory in a row as they beat the Cleveland Indians 4 – 2 on Monday to extend their AL Central lead to 7 1/2 games. The two teams continue their three game series on Tuesday in Cleveland. GO TIGERS!
