Tigers Lose Series Finale to the Rangers

Tiger starter Brad Penny continued his early inning troubles in Thursday’s loss to the Texas Rangers at Comerica Park.  The Final score:  Rangers 5, Tigers 2.  Penny gave up all five runs in 6 and 2/3rds innings of work.  Victor Martinez and Miguel Cabrera provided most of the offense for the Tigers.  The Tigers hit the road for a three game series with the Kansas City Royals.  Rick Porcello will take the mound for the Tigers.
