Tigers Lose to Birds

The Detroit Tigers have today off after helping the Orioles open their home schedule with a 5 – 1 loss to the birds in Baltimore.  Tiger pitchers have given up a 3 run homer in each of their first four games.  They gave up only 13 three run dingers all of last year.  The Tigers and Orioles return to action tomorrow with game number two of a three game set.  Justin Verlander is scheduled to pitch for the Tigers.
