The Detroit Tigers put a whippin' on the Cleveland Indians in a 14 – 0 pasting last night.  Starter Brad Fister pitched eight innings of shutout ball before closing out his last performance of the regular season.  Every Tiger in the starting lineup contributed with at least one hit.  The same two teams go at it again tonight, with Max Scherzer “toeing the slab” for the Tigers.  Detroit remains one game behind the Texas Rangers in the race for home field advantage in the ALDS.  GO TIGERS!
