The Tigers found a way to stop the longest losing streak in Manager Jim Leyland’s tenure with Detroit.  All they had to do was “demote” one second baseman and “promote” another.  Scott Sizemore paid immediate dividends with three hits in Tuesday’s 4 – 2 victory over the New York Yankees.  Slumping Austin Jackson and Magglio Ordonez both picked up two hits apiece, and starter Brad Penny raised his record to 2 – 3.  Max Scherzer is scheduled to pitch for the Tigers tonight.
