In a game that ended up closer than expected after taking a 7 zip lead, the Tigers went on to beat the Cleveland Indians ; 8 – 7 to sweep the series.  After spotting starter Rick Porcello to a 7 zip lead … Porcello struggled in the middle innings allowing the Indians to close the gap.  It took a game ending double play throw from centerfielder Austin Jackson to catcher Alex Avila to secure the victory.  Tiger pitcher Phil Coke picked up with the victory.  The Tigers travel to St. Petersburg, FL to take on the Tampa Bay Rays in a four game series.  With the victory, the Tigers now hold a 4.5 game lead over the Indians.  GO TIGERS!
