Attention all my fellow Luna-tics. Get outside tonight and take a look up in the sky and shining down on us is the Full Beaver Moon. The story I like about how this full moon got its name comes from the Native American Algonquin tribe. They would at this time of the year when the moon was high in the heavens put out the beaver traps before the ponds would freeze over. The furs they would acquire would help them keep warm through the long winter. Another name given to the November full moon is the Frost Moon.

Go do some Howling tonight.
