A true rock dog Joe Walsh is having his birthday today. He was born 67 years ago in Wichita, Kansas. When he was a young kid the family moved to Ohio then New York City next stop a short trip to New Jersey where he graduated from high school. Joe then returns to Ohio to Attend Kent State University for about a year and leave college to join a rock & roll band that would end up being The James Gang. After about 3 years he would go basically solo with Joe Walsh and Barnstorm. In 1976 he was invited to join The Eagles replacing Bernie Leadon.

Since becoming a member of The Eagles Joe has had some solo success to. Summer of 1968, Joe’s first solo album after joining The Eagles that came with the cool title But Seriously, Folks… was a success powered by the classic Life’s Been Good.
