Just before 6pm last night (6/11), tornado sirens started blaring in Saginaw county as a small but powerful storm cell made its way through the region.

Confirmed as an EF-1 tornado with winds between 90 and 100 mph, the National Weather Service says the tornado was on the ground for five miles and was 300 yards wide. Initial reports indicate that no one was injured or killed.
