Southern Lower Michigan was under a Flash Flood Warning for the majority of yesterday afternoon and evening, but it wasn't until after 8pm last night that the Greater Flint Area was in Mother Nature's cross-hairs.

What started as a steady light rain quickly transitioned into a monstrous downpour. There was more water coming down than the drainage systems could keep up with. Mundy Township was the hardest hit area, with some roads still covered in water this morning. Many area residents are reporting flooding in areas that are not prone to flooding, including basements.

Traffic Watch is all clear this morning as of 6:00am and there are no reported road closures as of now. The forecast doesn't call for more rain until tomorrow night, which will give flood waters a chance to recede and dry out.
