I've always thought a school bus was one of the safest places in the world. But lately, I am beginning to question that. This year alone we've seen two bus fires, the one that killed several California students earlier this year, and another bus fire that happened just a few days ago.

Then there was the incident where a deer crashed through the windshield of a bus, and we started 2014 locally with a four-year-old who was left unattended on a Flint-area school bus for six hours.

When a small car collides with a school bus, someone's gonna need a new small car.  But when two school buses collide, it's a different story altogether.  Thankfully no one was killed, but a seven-year-old girl was injured during this horrific incident yesterday as two school buses collided outside of a daycare center on Long Island.
