Yesterday we were all heartbroken and disgusted when news broke about a mutilated dog in Detroit. Barron, a Rottweiler mix, was found on a street in the D, with his ears and nose cut off.

A $2500 reward was offered by the Michigan Humane Society to find the person and or people that committed this heinous act - now that reward money has sky rocketed to $11,200! Someone has to know something - if you do please contact the Michigan Humane Society Cruelty Investigation Department at (313) 872-3401.

As for Barron, according to one of the vets treating him said he is doing remarkably well despite a long road to recovery.
