Used Book Sale At Seven Ponds Nature Center

Seven Ponds Nature Center will be holding a Used Book Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The sale will feature books on a variety of topics, including travel, sports, photography, crafts, cooking, medicine, and home repair. Many fiction titles by today’s popular authors will also be available. There will be a children’s section at the sale, featuring a variety of books for young readers. Many of the books available during the sale were donated by members of the nature center and thus many nature and garden titles will be available. Some of these are books are now out-of-print and hard to find. This is an excellent opportunity to add these books to a home nature library, recycling these classics in the process.

Seven Ponds asks only for donations in exchange for books during the Used Book Sale. The funds which are raised will be used to help support the many educational and conservation activities conducted by the nature center. Seven Ponds serves the Southeast Michigan community with a variety of activities, including many for children. Each year, more than 8,000 school children are served by the nature center’s programs.

Seven Ponds Nature Center is on Crawford Road in Dryden Township. The nature center is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional information about the nature center at sevenponds.org.
